Hi my name is Wendy Backhouse a Podiatrist with over 30 years clinical experience and 25 of those years I have spent at this great Practice, my home away from home. I have lived on the Gold Coast for such a long time, you could actually say I am a local. I completed my training at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). I enjoy working in a large group practice and have fostered close relationships with GP's, Nurses and Specialists. My professional clinical areas include: Wound Management, Skin and Nail diagnosis and care. A holistic approach to the care of my Patients is very important to me, working in a large group Practice benefits both patients and practitioners alike. Away form the clinic I lead a very active lifestyle and believe this influences a positive approach to life and patient care and overall well being.
