Frequently Asked Questions |
Medical CertificatesMedical certificates are legal documents and can only be issued by a doctor who has assessed your medical condition. To ensure the certificate accurately reflects your condition, we ask that you request a medical certificate during your consultation with your doctor. If a certificate is requested after your appointment, the doctor may require a follow-up consultation, which may be via telehealth if appropriate, before they can issue one. An additional consultation fee may apply. Where possible, any request for a medical certificate should be made to the doctor who originally assessed you. If that doctor is unavailable, you may need to book a new consultation with another GP, as they are unable to issue a certificate without conducting their own assessment. We appreciate your understanding, as these requirements help ensure we meet our legal and professional obligations when issuing medical certificates.
